Afterlight Recordings

Afterlight Recordings was established in Vesterlund in 1991 when the collapse of Halcyon Crown Records left Afterlight with an album, an audience and no functioning label beyond the islands. What began as a practical arrangement for pressing cassettes and paying ferry freight became the band's permanent home.

The imprint issues music slowly and keeps its catalogue small. Its releases are recorded with physical rooms, real amplifiers and authored endings in mind. Worlds Away: The Vesterlund Recordings is its first international release.
